 Agressie Sokoban
"Agressive sokoban" is an impressive game in the old arcade style, developed by nemu90kWw from Japan. It's a mix between a plateformer and the classic Sokoban game. Z to select/jump, arrows to move and J to catch the boxes. Very rare for such a high quality game, the source code is available from this page.

Hexagonized is simply an hexagonal version of Clickomania. A great job by Jussi Kari and Marko Taali from Finland. More details about the game and the way the score is computed on their blog.

It is a donwloadable game (no installation required) that knew a tremendous success in the year 2001. Your goal is to remove as many stones as possible by clicking on groups of stones with the same color. As very often, simple rules, make greatest games. Yet anotrher interesting BrickBreaker clone, developed by the japanese fellows at GameDesign (see also Tennis, Dice Wars and Race). Unlike its predecessors, the pad, controled by the mouse, is a circle, which allows to adjust accurately the direction of the ball.

 Wreckanoïd
Wreckanoïd is an Arkanoïd clone (see also Javanoïd) with interesting new features, developed by Aaron Worall (alias Negativeone) from Canada. The speed of the ball is depending on how hard you hit the ball with the pad you control with the mouse. Many levels and modes. The game is also playable using the internet browser of the Nintendo Wii.

 Spacewar! (1962)
Spacewar! is one of the first wideo game. It's a 2 players game conceived in 1961 by Martin Graetz, Stephen Russell, and Wayne Wiitanen. It was first realized on the PDP-1 in 1962. This is the original 1962 game code running on PDP-1 emulator in Java, with minor changes.
The "a", "s", "d", "f" keys control one of the spaceships. The "k", "l", ";", "'" keys control the other. Found on game|life blog.

 Tower Defence
After the great Flash Element TD, yet another Flash adaptation of the popular "Warcraft 3 Element Tower Defence" or "Starcraft Turret Defence" games. This version, developed by Roman Sanine, uses very simple graphics (circles for ennemies) but it's surprisingly as addictive as the version developed by David Scott (Flash Element TD). This is a proof that we don't need sophisticated graphics to make a fun game. In this version you don't start the waves, they arrive after a count down, so you have to place your towers in real time. This adds a lot of dynamism to the game. Well done!
